Android APK · Free install
Download the PKRSpin APK
The app is not on the Play Store, so it installs from a file you download yourself. It takes about four minutes on a normal connection, and there is only one Android setting to change the first time you do it.
No Play Store account needed · Installs over an older version without data loss
Before you start
Two decisions worth making now
Neither is complicated, but both save time if you settle them before the download rather than halfway through.
Register first, or install first
You can create the account before installing, or from inside the app afterwards. Doing it first is slightly easier, because the registration form on the website is larger and easier to type into than the in-app version, and it means the app has something to sign into the moment it opens. Either way it is the same account.
If you have not used the app before, it is worth reading what PKRSpin is and the four game modes first, so you know what you are installing rather than working it out afterwards.
Whether the Android warning matters
Installing an APK is not inherently risky, but installing one from the wrong place is. Android warns you during the process because it cannot verify a file that did not come from the Play Store. That warning is expected here and is not a signal that anything is wrong.
What is not expected is a file that differs noticeably in size from the figure on this page, or one that requests permissions unrelated to a game. Either of those means you have the wrong file and should delete it.
Requirements
What your phone needs
Check these before downloading. Most install failures trace back to one of the first two rows.
| Requirement | Minimum | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Android version | 6.0 Marshmallow | Older builds fail at the install screen with a parse error |
| Free storage | 250 MB | The APK is about 110 MB and unpacks to roughly double that |
| RAM | 2 GB | Card tables and animated spin rounds stutter below this |
| Connection | Stable 4G or Wi-Fi | Prediction rounds close on a countdown and will not wait for a dropped signal |
| Unknown sources | Enabled for your browser | Android blocks the install until this is allowed once per phone |
Installation
Six steps, once per phone
Step one only has to be done the first time, not on every update. Everything after it takes seconds.
-
Allow browser installs
Settings, then Apps, then Special access, then Install unknown apps. Pick your browser and turn it on. On some phones this sits under Security, and on older versions it is a single Unknown sources switch.
-
Download the file
Let it finish completely. Interrupting the download part-way produces most corrupted-file errors later, and a partial file will still open and still fail.
-
Open the APK
Tap the download notification, or find the file in Downloads through a file manager. Check the size roughly matches the figure on this page before opening it.
-
Confirm the install
Android lists the permissions, then shows Install. Play Protect may offer to scan the file, which you can allow, and will warn the developer is unknown, which is expected for any APK.
-
Sign in or register
Enter the number and password you registered with, or register on the website if you have not yet. Add an invitation code during registration, since it cannot be applied afterwards.
-
Claim the bonus
The banner appears once you are signed in. Tap it, then open any of the game modes. If the app signs you out unexpectedly, the login troubleshooting guide explains why.
Permissions
What the app asks for, and why
Android shows a permission list during install. Two of these are required, two are safe to decline.
Storage
The app caches game assets and graphics locally so that opening a mode does not redownload everything each time. Denying this will stop the app working, so it is not optional.
Network state
Lets the app detect when your connection drops, so a timed prediction round can be closed cleanly rather than left hanging while the countdown continues on the server. This one matters more than it sounds.
Notifications
Delivers withdrawal updates, gift code alerts and daily check-in reminders. Safe to decline if you find app notifications noisy, and nothing in the app breaks without it.
Camera
Only used if you upload a profile photo or scan a payment QR code. Decline it and everything else continues to work normally.
A download that requests contacts, SMS or call log access is not the official build. No part of PKRSpin needs those. Delete the file, download again from this page, and read the account security checklist before signing in anywhere.
Troubleshooting
Install problems and how to clear them
Each has a specific cause, so the fix is quick once you know which one you are looking at.
"App not installed" appears at the end
Usually an older copy of PKRSpin still on the phone, sometimes one you thought was removed. Uninstall it completely, restart the device, then install the new file. If it repeats, clear the cache of the Package Installer app under Settings, Apps, showing system apps.
"There was a problem parsing the package"
Either the download finished incomplete, or the phone is running Android 5 or older. Delete the file, confirm the storage figure in the requirements table, and download again on a stable connection.
Play Protect blocks the install
Play Protect flags most APKs that did not come from the Play Store, regardless of what is in them. Choose the option to install anyway. If you would rather not override it, the app cannot be used, since there is no store listing to install from instead.
The app installs but closes on launch
Clear the app cache under Settings, Apps, PKRSpin, Storage. If it still closes, the device is likely short on free memory rather than faulty. Close background apps and try again.
The verification code never arrives
Check the number for a typo, confirm the SIM has signal, and wait the full sixty seconds before requesting another. Requesting repeatedly puts the number into a cooldown that makes the wait longer. Other sign-in faults are on the login page.
How do I update to a newer version?
Download the new APK and install it straight over the existing app. Your account and balance live on the server, as explained under deposits and withdrawals, so nothing is lost. Do not uninstall first unless an error tells you to.
Can I install it on a tablet?
Yes, if the tablet runs Android 6.0 or newer. The layout is built for phone screens, so it will stretch rather than adapt, but everything remains usable.
Does reinstalling delete my balance?
No. The wallet is stored against your account on the server, not on the device, so removing and reinstalling the app has no effect on it.
Installed it already?
Next step is signing in and securing the account. If you have not registered yet, do that first and the app will have something to sign into.
